Loving God with all our Heart

Many people have misunderstood what the Christian faith is all about. They think it is about going to church and practicing some rituals and nothing more. But instead, the Christian faith is all about a love relationship with God and the love bible verses about our love for God that you find below will show you what I mean!

Jesus replied, “The most important one is this: ‘Listen, Israel! The Lord our God is the only Lord. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’
(Mar 12:29-30 GNB)

When God describes Himself in the Bible, He calls Himself “our Father”. He is the one who has always loved us and who still want to show His unconditional love to us, His children! The Christian faith is a family thing. Not a religion with just rituals and prayer to a distant God. He loves us and has shown it very clearly, and want us to love Him back!!

If your relationship with God is just going to church once a week and maybe read a prayer or two and nothing more, then there is an exciting relationship with God for you to discover!

Don’t misunderstand me, it is nothing wrong with going to the church, of course, that’s great, and nothing wrong with reading a prayer, but there is a living, loving relationship with our Father in heaven that gives us true fulfillment!

There are so many great love quotes from the Bible that express that relationship.

We want to show our love to God

And as in every relationship, we want to give our love back to the one who loves us. That is a natural thing. And the Scripture is filled with love bible verses that in different ways express people’s love for Him. The Psalms, for example, are songs; hymns that help us show our love for God!

The most important thing is though, that we love our God from the heart! God is not interested in our performance; He is real and wants a real relationship with us!

God deserves our love and dedication. It is not about us, it is all about Him! The Bible says: “We love because he has loved us first.” Our part is just a response to His love for us!

We can do that through prayer and thanksgiving, but also through praise and worship. Singing praise to the Lord is something that really belongs to the Christian church! Through centuries Christians have been singing.

There are many of love quotes from the Bible that is actually written as hymns! And more….through eternity the angels sing praise to God, all day long…they are always there before His throne singing praises to Him! Let’s join them!
