When I say “bible memory verses” you might think about Sunday school. Do you remember when you got a verse from the Bible to memorize during the week, for example:

Actually, to memorize scriptures from the bible is a very good thing to do, but sorry to say many times forgotten! To memorize bible verses is good only for Sunday school children, when it comes to memorizing the bible none of should never have quit Sunday school!


Why Is Memorizing the Bible so Important?


To think about and memorize bible verses is very important. It helps you to get the word “under your skin”, into your heart to do marvelous things. Don’t you agree that those bible memory verses you learned as a kid, you never forget? Because you memorized small bible quotes and had to think about them, you even today reap benefits from it. True?


You know, the word is the only thing that will stand through everything that we meet in life. it stands through storms, trial and temptations. If we have the word inside of us by memorizing bible verses, we have the power to meet every kind of circumstances.


There is a great lack today in the Christianity of people who really knows their bible. We might have some head knowledge about the bible, but that does not help you that much. For the word to be powerful in your life you need to have it in your heart. It is like putting gas into the car. Try to drive it without! You know that does not work. But so many Christians try to drive through their life without putting fuel into it.


How To Memorize the Bible


It is very easy to start to practicing to memorize some scriptures. Take one of those bible memory verses below, and read it. Memorize it and meditate on it. Ask God to show you all of its meaning, and what it means to you know in the situation you are in. God knows you, and his Holy Spirit guides you and teaches you as you take time

Jos.1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.


To really try to remember what the Bible tells you this way is the way to success and to see God move in your life! The promise God gave to Joshua was that if he thinks about Gods word both day and night he shall be prosperous.
